SUPPOSED TO BE SLEEPING BUT I STAYED UP AN EXTRA 1 1/2 HOURS TO DOODLE THIS? DAFUQ SON.
Idk i thought it would help me go to bed, but i freaking.. ended up doodling this for about.. well yeah an hour, hour n a half? i guess it's cause im sitting here at the desk being kind of productive and practicing doodling.
only one layer, one brush type, and mostly black and white at first. then i started using different opacities to get the shades. and well of course the little fel glow in his eye.
ANYWAAAY tonight's... er this morning's little expriment is focused on my OC Knight Lord Theophilus. His story is a little odd, but i really do love an usual tale.

eh long story short, guy's been hunting forest trolls for decades. hates his wife, can't relate to his kids, and one day he kills the father of Mekhala, a female shadowhunter about 13-14. for years they duel each other but always ending up in a stalemate. later on, they end up in the ghostlands, and mekhala gets ensnared by some crypt fiends but instead of letting her die, Theophilus rescues her since he's so used to seeing her on a weekly basis, sometimes more than that. After she escapes, he stops killing forest trolls but still goes out on his rounds for a chance to see her again.
The next time he meets he tries to explain to her that after all these years of trying to hunt her down, he had become so used to her presence that the thought of her gone... Well he couldn't bear that thought at all. Despite hearing this her rage continued and she tried to kill him once more, but it only ended in them embracing each other for the first time.
Secretly they kept seeing each other, and even after having a baby they continued their secret affair. The baby was left at the orphanage, and in time Theophilus took the child under his wing under the guise of a paladin trainer. around the time the son was 11 or so, Theophilus had finally left his wife and the affair still remains a secret.
dis guy makes an appearance in my little fan comic too, but around that time.. well.. lol you'll see
